One of (many) things that we love about our beautiful island of Ibiza is her spirit of tolerance and the rich colours of her social fabric. And there is no time of year this vibrancy is more apparent than during Ibiza Gay Pride week!
The celebrations have already kicked off and run all the way through until Sunday 12th June. There are all kinds of events taking place in a variety of venues over the island. From art exhibitions, theatre and live music to full-on Ibiza parties such as La Troya and Matinee. To see the full programme, check out the Gay Pride Website, helpfully in both English and Spanish. Some events are free and others require a ticket which can be purchased from the website.
The opening party, La Troya is tonight, Wednesday 8th at Space and the celebrations culminate on Sunday 12th with the famous, flamboyantly fabulous Gay Pride Parade and (of course) a final, huge post-parade party at the Feria de Muestras in Ibiza Town from 8pm – midnight. If you want to see the parade (and we recommend you do!) then head into Ibiza Town in the afternoon. For the post-parade party, Here’s a handy map if you’re not sure where to find it and you can check out the video of last year’s event below to give you an idea of what to expect!
And as always, if you fancy some rest and recuperation in-between amazing parties, you know where to come! Prices for a group of x 9 to charter their own private, beautiful boat for the day start from as little as €65 per person, fully inclusive. It’s a no-brainer ladies and gents, come and experience Ibiza like a boss with us!
